ENTRE ELES

"Entre Eles" is a short film that I wrote and directed in 2019 during my studies for a degree in sound and image in Portugal. This project emerged as my final assignment, featuring a simple narrative without any dialogue.

The storyline of "Entre Eles" revolves around Maria, a single mother undergoing an emotionally challenging phase in her life. The absence of a meaningful connection with her son, Gonçalo, casts a heavy silence over their journey home. This short film delves into the profound struggle of a mother grappling with the inability to establish a genuine connection with her own child. The tension between Maria and Gonçalo is palpable from the film's outset, persisting until its conclusion.
